Visitation will be held at Parkview Baptist Church in Baton Rouge on Monday, October 3rd at 10 am until the service at 12 pm. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home. Survived by his wife, Cindy Kreider Blackburn of New Orleans; daughter Laura Blackburn Lancaster and son in law Brent, two sons Damon Dale Blackburn and Brandon Dale Blackburn, all of Baton Rouge; a sister, Gail Blackburn Tyler, two brothers and two sisters in law, Harry and Kathye Blackburn all of Bossier City, Larry “Boo” and Dara Blackburn of Baton Rouge; two grandchildren, Leyton Elizabeth and Nate Preston Lancaster; niece Jenny Blackburn Oakley (Scott), and nephews Troy Blackburn (Jill), Terry Blackburn (Stephanie), Clay Blackburn (Delyla), Matt Tyler (Suzanne), Mark Tyler, Saxon DiAubin (Juliana), Lane Blackburn (Betsy), and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
